KATHMANDU, September 12: Nepal recorded 911 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with 1,786 recoveries and 13 deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 7,878 PRC tests and 3,140 antigen tests for COVID-19 were conducted on Sunday. Of them, 838 PCR tests and 73 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
There are currently 26,757 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 25,171 are in home isolation, 1,586 in institutional isolation, 454 in ICUs and 140 on ventilators.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu valley recorded 309 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 187 were recorded in Kathmandu, 56 in Lalitpur and 66 in Bhaktapur districts.
