HETAUDA, Dec 21: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has said the elections of all three tiers would be possible only through understanding among all the political parties. 

Inaugurating the new building of the District Election Office, Makwanpur at Hetauda Sub Metropolis-5 today, CEC Yadav said the government has been already informed about the need to formulate election-related laws in order to hold the election. 

"It is difficult to fix the election date until the House endorses the election-related acts and laws," he added. 

District Election Officer Govinda Prasad Poudel said the construction of a two-storey and 13-room building cost Rs 12.4 million and the government bore the cost. 

According to him, updating of voters' name list is underway in the district. RSS
