KATHMANDU, July 14: Here is the list of people who should not receive the shots of COVID-19 vaccines, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
People below 18 years
Those people who suffered serious allergies after receiving their first jab
Those who suffered other serious health complications due to the vaccine
Those who have suffered serious health issues due to any vaccines, medicines or food items
People who are currently serious ill and have high fever
Those COVID-19 patients who had undergone treatment through Monoclonal antibodies or Convalescent Plasma can receive jabs after 90 days of treatment
COVID-19 patients can receive the vaccine after 30 days of recovery
Nepal is currently administering Vero Cell and J & J vaccines across the country. Japan has also announced the donation of almost 1.6 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines which are expected to be delivered to Nepal soon.
