Two killed in separate incidents

PARSA, June 7: A man was killed when lightning struck him at Surjaha VDC-4 in the district today.

Local resident Anil Yadav, 25, died on the spot, police said. Yadav was walking to his field when the incident occurred.

Yadav's body was sent to Birgunj-based Narayani Sub Regional Hospital for a post-mortem.

Meanwhile, Tetari Khatun, 56, of Gaur Municipality-10 in Rautahat was killed when a snake bit her.

Khatun breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Gaur Hospital, police said. RSS
