KATHMANDU, June 24: Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery tally has reached 2,338 on Wednesday with recovery of 114 patients in the last 24 hours.
According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 114 patients of Covid-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country after recovery. Those recovered include eight females and 106 males.

Speaking at a daily media briefing, Dr Gautam said that 19 patients of Covid-19 are from Jaleshwor Hospital, 20 from Covid Hospital in Sapahi, Janakpur, 28 from BP Koirala Institute of Health Science in Dharan, Sunsari and 10 others from Kalika Hospital in Syangja were discharged after their successful recovery in last 24 hours.
Similarly, one patient each from Kapilvastu District, Damauli District and Gorkha Hospital and three each from Sindhuli Hospital and Bharatpur Hospital and four from Dhaulagiri Hospital and six others from GP Koirala Shukla Gandaki Hospital were also discharged after recovery on Wednesday.
With this, Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery tally has reached 2,338 including 197 female and 2141 male patients.
According to MoHP, a total of 6,828 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests and 12,112 Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDT) were conducted in the last 24 hours. 8,366 patients of Covid-19 are currently undergoing treatment in various isolation centers across the nation.
The Health Ministry also reported 629 new cases of Covid-19 in Nepal, taking the national Covid-19 tally to 10,728 so far.
