GORKHA, July 7: A police constable stationed at Samagaun of northern Gorkha district has gone missing since June 15. According to Shekhar Khanal, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the district, police constable Mohan Singh Kunwar has been out of contact for three weeks.

Kunwar, who had left for Samagaoun from his home district in Balkot Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur is out of contact and has not arrived at his destination. According to Khanal, Mohan Singh Kunwar was last seen in Dharche Rural Municipality in Tatopani. 

Khanal said that the search for the young police constable is currently underway. “A team of officers led by a Police Inspector of the Area Police Office in Arughat is conducting the search operation, but the missing constable has not been found yet,” DSP Khanal added.
