CHITWAN, July 5: Sujita Bhandari, 23, of Rapti Municipality-3 of Chitwan district who went missing on June 25 was found dead on Sunday evening.
Her dead body was recovered from Brahmasthan Community Forest.
Sujita had gone missing on her way to her friend’s house at 6 AM on June 25. She had informed her sister that she was kidnapped on the same day, according to her family members.
Local people, who were hunting mushrooms in the forest, had informed police after witnessing the dead body of Bhandari.
According to DSP Surya Thapa of District Police Office of Chitwan, a bottle with white fluid was also recovered along with the dead body. “Police are conducting further investigation and detailed information about the incident is yet to be received,” he added.
