BIRGUNJ, June 29: As many as three people were struck and killed by lightning in Parsa district on Tuesday morning.
According to Om Prakash Khanal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, lightning strikes in the district killed three people and injured four others on Tuesday.
As informed by the area police office of Paterwa Sugauli Rural Municipality, the seriously injured patients have been admitted to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj.
The deceased include two males and one female. According to the police, most of the lightning victims had been working in their fields and were grazing their animals at the time of the incident.
