IN PICS: Flood wreaks havoc in Melamchi

KATHMANDU, June 16: Melamchi Municipality and Helambu Rural Municipality witnessed massive destruction due to floods and landslides triggered by incessant rainfall on Wednesday.

Dozens of people have gone missing. At some places, even three to four storied buildings have been completely submerged in water.

Nepal Army and other security personnel are doing their best to rescue people and distribute relief.
