KATHMANDU, June 7: The hearing on the House of Representatives (HoR) case in the Supreme Court has been postponed for Wednesday after Chief Justice (CJ) Cholendra Shumser Rana fell ill.
The hearing was earlier scheduled to be continued on Monday.
The apex court has been unable to conduct the hearing because CJ Rana is experiencing some health problems, said an official at the court. “The hearing will be continued on Wednesday.”
CJ Rana formed a constitutional bench on the basis of seniority to conduct a hearing on the parliament dissolution case on Sunday. As many as 30 writ petitions have been filed in the SC against the dissolution of parliament.
