KATHMANDU, June 30: The 10th National Convention of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is being held in the capital from today. The general convention will run for five days to elect a 299-member working committee along with 21 office-bearers.
CPN (Unified Socialist) decides to support govt to pass budget
Party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal inaugurated the convention amidst the participation of senior leaders of various other political parties. Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal addressed the inaugural session of the convention, said CPN (Unified Socialist)) leader Som Prasad Pandey.
A total of 1,849 delegates from across the country have taken part in the convention. The senior leaders along with the delegates gathered at local Bhrikutimandap and marched towards the Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi, the convention venue.
