PARBAT, Dec 12: Member of Parliament (MP) Bikash Lamsal on Sunday donated Rs 2 million for the Srimad Bhagawad Gyan Mahayagya at Triveni in southern Parbat.
The Mahayagya –a Hindu Vedic ritual – was launched a week ago to generate funds for running master's programme and technical courses at the Painyu Multiple Campus at Triveni.
Lawmaker Lamsal said he donated the largest sum as the society and country's development was only possible through the development of educational sector. The Mahayagya has already fundraised Rs 5 million in seven days, according to the organizers. RSS
