PM consults leaders on budget

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal held talks with senior leaders of the major parties of the ruling coalition on budget issues on Monday morning.



PM Nepal met with Nepali Congress leaders Sushil Koirala and Ram Chandra Poudel along with Forum´s Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar to find a way out to pass the budget.



"We want to pass the budget through parliament," Poudel said after the meeting. "But Maoists are not even interested in consultations."



PM Nepal also met speaker Subash Chandra Nemwang earlier in the morning.
