KATHMANDU, Mar 21: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is flying to Bangladesh on Monday.
Prez Bhandari is visiting Bangladesh on a friendly invitation of her Bangladeshi counterpart Mohammad Abdul Hamid. She will be in Bangladesh for two days.
Bhandari will be accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Pradeep Gwayali, secretaries at MoFA and other senior staff of other ministries.
President Bhandari is scheduled to address a special function to be organized to mark the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence and the centenary of the founder of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The Nepali delegations will also visit the National Martyrs' Memorial and Bangalbandhu Memorial Museum in Bangladesh. They are also scheduled to attend a Luncheon to be organized by the Nepali embassy there.
President Bhandari will return to Nepal on March 23.
