Twin wins for Manaslu

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Team Manaslu on Thursday registered wins in both matches of the Blind T20 Cricket Tournament 2016 being organized to pick players for the Blind Cricket World Cup.

In the first match played at Pulchowk Engineering College ground, Team Manaslu registered four wickets win over Team Dhaulagiri. Kritan Shrestha Duwal contributed highest 27 runs for Manaslu. 

Similarly in the second match, Manaslu defeated Team Annapurna by 8 wickets. Bharat Chaulagai made highest 30 runs for the winning side. 

The tournament will pick 14 players for the Blind Cricket World Cup to be held in January.  

Valley Public, HHCA into final 
Valley Public School and HHCA has reached the girls' final of the ongoing Sixth Angels' Heart Sports Festival on Thursday.

In the semifinal matches held at Angels' Heart Sports Academy's court in Manamaiju, Kathmandu, Valley Public registered 22-18 victory over St Xaviers while HHCA defeated Bhadrakali School 38-29.
 
Similarly in the senior boys' final as well, HHCA has reached the final beating Valley Public 34-24 and fixed the summit clash against Odyssey International Academy who defeated Golden Peak 42-39.

Likewise in the junior boys' event, Golden Peak registered 29-14 win over Angels' Heart A to book its place in the final. In another semifinal, Basundhara National Academy defeated Angels' Heart B 30-26.
