10 injured, 3 critically, in Dhading jeep accident

DHADING, Aug 7: As many as 10 people were injured when a Bolero jeep, Ba 13 Cha 7701, met with an accident at Benighat Rorang rural municipality-5 in the district on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the jeep was heading to Gorkha from Benighat when the accident took place.

The condition of the three among those injured is said to be critical. Those critically injured are Madhu Pant, 35, Ekmaya Thapa Magar, 45, Benimaya Shrestha, 45, of Gandaki rural municipality.

They have been whisked to Trauma Center in Kathmandu while the remaining seven are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Malekhu, said District Police Office, Dhading.

Those sustaining minor injuries are Sita Shrestah, 35, Nirmaya Pulami, 31, Sita Thapa, 14, Gita BK, 45, Hemmaya Thapa, 50, Bipan Gurung, 20, of Gandaki rural municipality and Ajit Singh Magar, 17, of Dhading Jwalamukhi rural municipality of Dhading district.
