TANAHUN, June 15: A man wasdied while three others sustained injuries when a passenger bus met with an accident at Sudhe along the Buddhising road in the district on Friday afternoon.

The accident took place when the bus, Ga 1 Kha 3701, heading to Damauli from Sarangghat veered off and fell into the Seti River.

The deceased has been identified as Dan Bahadur Thakuri, 55, of Devghat rural municipality-2. Seriously injured Thakuri breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Damauli Hospital.

The injured are Anisha Ale, 28, of Tanahun Suklagandaki-10, Chudamani Gharti and Nar Bahadur Rokka of Salyan Tribeni, according to District Police Office, Tanahun.

They have been referred to Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara after preliminary treatment at Damauli Hospital.
