RASUWA, July 26: A person has died while eight others have gone missing in a landslide that occurred in Timure of the district on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Shyam Tamang of Bhotekoshi-4, Sindhupalchwok.

According to police, three among those rescued are critically injured. 

"The landslide occurred at around 1 am today and has swept away police station and two houses," said Chief District Officer Krishna Paudel. 

Those injured in the landslide are receiving treatment at Chinese Camp and Timure Health Post and that those critical have been referred to Kathmandu.

The loss of property caused by the landslide is yet to be ascertained.
