‘Yuresa’ launches ready-to-wear designs

When it comes to Nepali fashion designing, Yubi Thapa is one of the highly-mentioned names. Be it Samragyee Rajya Laxmi or Priyanka Karki, Nepali celebrities barely miss out on Thapa’s collection. However, throughout his half-a-dozen journey of fashion designing, most of his clients and visitors had requested him for readymade designer wears.

Collaborating with two co-partners Ramesh Bhandari and Samir Thapa, Thapa recently introduced Yuresa at Peoples Plaza. Emerging Nepali actress, Samragyee Rajya Laxmi Shah inaugurated the shop on January 5.

According to Thapa, most of the designer wears are highly expensive. “A certain group of clients are only able to afford the designing attire. Therefore, observing the market, I have launched readymade collections targeting middle class clients,” said Thapa. “It is my dream project and I am happy to work for it. I basically design and work on the fabrics while Samir takes care of the production in China and Ramesh looks over the management,” added Thapa.

Yuresa is a ready-to-wear store inspired from globally-trendy apparels that provide a wide assortment of latest stylish outfits at an affordable price. Apart from style, the brand is also maintaining the quality. “We have not comprised with the quality of outfits when we say it is affordable. The price of the wears ranges from Rs 2,500 to 25, 000,” Thapa informed.

“We have our own production house in China where the fabrics come from. Then, I design the clothes and shape them keeping the trendy styles in mind,” he added.

Actors from Nepali film industry are supporting the products. Lately, they had a photo and video shooting with actors including Samragyee RL Shah, Barsha Raut, Paramita RL Rana.

Meanwhile, the store is planning to launch the brand website and host fashion shows of the products in Australia. They are looking forward to introducing other accessories such as head gears, foot wears and expand their ventures outside Kathmandu especially in Pokhara and Dharan.
