With an aim to raise awareness about the impact of climate change on the Himalayan glaciers, Partynepal has announced plans to produce a reality show 'World Vlog Challenge'(WVC).

According to the organizers, WVC is a project to unite notable vloggers from across the world to be the voice of the Himalayas. On its official website, the company states, "Himalayan glaciers are spread across eight countries and are the source of all major rivers across the region; these glaciers are melting at an alarming rate putting the future of billions of lives and the entire ecosystem in danger. We believe vloggers are great storytellers, influencers and sources of information to the new generation. The main objective of WVC is to let the youths know about the Himalayas and their glaciers." 

A trek to Mt Everest will begin this October with 10 vloggers from around the world. The finalists of Nepal Vlog Challenge will represent Nepal and join the team for the show. 

To participate, vloggers from all seven provinces can submit their applications by visiting the Nepal Vlog Challeng's website. The participants will be judged by Nischal Basnet, Sisan Baniya, Rohit Shakya and Milan Thapa.

Summiter Kami Rita Sherpa will be training the filmmakers and vloggers on mountaineering techniques and Mingma David Sherpa will be leading the team.
