‘Why Entrepreneurship in Nepal?’ empowering youths

Digital Nepal in association with Tech Sathi and Balance Group of Company, Global Entrepreneurs Hub is organizing ‘Why Entrepreneurship in Nepal?’ at MC Donald Food Cafe Restaurant & Banquet Baneshwor, Mid Baneshwor on August 31.

The one day event is all about networking and exploring. It’ll have panel discussions and the networking sessions from experts from entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and business. “The event is being organized with the motive to aware youths about global trends of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. It’ll aim to transform their mindset and inspire them to solve major challenges of the country,” the event description reads.

Ravi Kumar (founder, Code For Nepal), Rohit Tiwari (co-founder, Foodmario), Binay Devkota (CEO, Clock b Business Innovations), Amit Agrawal (co-founder, Khalti), Narottam Aryal (executive director, King’s College), and Asgar Ali (IT consultant to the PM office) are the keynote speakers. Likewise, the panels for the discussion include Faija Parween (founder, Open Space Network) and Thryza Dow (CEO, Blinc Ventures).

The main focus of the event is about creating an ecosystem for young entrepreneurs for innovations. “Throughout this event, we will be making youth in conditioned to think about different challenges and problem that exist in the systems of different fields —education, health, agriculture, business and innovation—and bring them together to work on those.”
