In a press meet in the district headquarters, Tansen today, leader Gyawali said that his party would cooperate to amend the constitution if any rationale and need of the people were connected with it.
He claimed that the issues of amending the constitution were not the demand of Tarai people, adding that it was the demand of some leaders only.
The UML leader clarified that breaking up Province No 5 and amending the constitution making eligible to naturalized citizenship certificate holders by including some illogical provisions would not be acceptable to his party.
Leader Gyawali shared that his party was not getting authentic information from the government on preparation regarding the constitution amendment. RSS
