Suhana Thapa debuted in Nepali Film Industry via Sri Krishna Shrestha and Jharna Thapa starrer film ‘A Mero Hajur’ in 2059. Produced by Suhana’s father Sunil Kumar Thapa, the film was seeking a child artist. This is how she featured in the film. Shiva Regmi directorial film was a Super-hit.

After 16 years Suhana returns to silver screen through ‘A Mero Hajur -3’, scheduled to hit the theaters on March 12. She will share the screen with Anmol KC in the film. In a recent interaction with Republica, Suhana shared, “My parents have been around in the industry for quite some time now. People also might think that it took me oo long to enter the Nepali film fraternity. But everything needs to be done perfectly. I might have joined the fraternity late, but this is the perfect time for me to engage in films.”

This is Jharna Thapa’s second movie as a director. She began her directorial venture with ‘A Mero Hajur-2’. Suhana disclosed, “I was not willing to be featured in the film but my parents brought me to the spotlight thinking that they should give chance to their daughter.”

Suhana used to live in a hostel since her childhood. She later moved USA to pursue her graduation. She hasn’t taken any acting course. She learnt about acting through films’ workshops. Suhana shared her experience about working in the film. She said, “During shooting I could not talk to mom and dad as usual since they are the producer and director of the film I am working in.”

Suhana informed that she loves Anmol’s honesty and work-strategies. “While shooting for the film, I found Anmol to be very humble and down to the earth. He never showed off his stardom. Moreover he is equally helpful at work,” Suhana shared.
