The Highway Kid
When the kid
Reaches out for his play on the ground,
He is not afraid of playing with the dust.
He plays like a dolphin in the sea,
Running in the concrete dust and mud, beside the highway
With a ragged ball of socks and a homemade coconut bat;
His companions, and pastime endeavors.
Learning the rules of his own game,
He grows with the same today and tomorrow
Unknowingly and boldly on the roadside he plays
Unafraid of the enormous vehicles, shaking the highway
How a grown-up he will step out across the highway in future?
May be he will become a clerk in the bank
Where, the colorful bazaar welcomes him.
