The Hidden Treasure (THT) accepts Miss-Nepal-2019 was mismanaged

The Hidden Treasure (THT) has accepted, ‘the technological management of Miss Nepal 2019 finale was not as good as expected’, amid a press conference held on Friday. Chairperson of the treasure, Gopal Sunder Lal Kakshapati accepted that technically, the event’s management was weak. “We are not able to organize an international-level beauty pageant due to technical problems,” said Kakshapati. He further informed that limited sources are the main reason for not getting perfect results at the international beauty pageant.  “We are noticing the lack of proper sources in this pageant. It might sound weird, but Nepal is short of proper gears for international pageants,” he added.

Director of THT, Girendra Man Rajbansi informed that the pageant was organized at the premises of laboratory school citing a weak management. He further stated that itwas the most expensive Miss Nepal organized till date. “This is the most expensive Miss Nepal organized till date. The cost of building the stage and management was around Rs 4 million. Before, we organized the event at five star hotels, rightfully excluding the cost of making the stage,” said Rajbansi.

Despite organizing the finals for 25 years, the program was heavily criticized online. The stage design and empty white chairs placed right beneath it took some harsh trolling on different social media platforms.

Miss Nepal 2019, Anuskha Shrestha shared that she was inspired to enroll in social work while she was doing internship in Vatican City in 2016.  “The Miss Nepal platform helps to involve in social work. So this title is important for me. Miss Nepal will represent the country on a global platform, and I am being rightly rained for that,” shared Shrestha. She will represent Nepal in ‘Miss World’ that is scheduled for manghsir 21.  Similarly, Miss Nepal Universe, Pradeepta Adhikari shared that her journey for an international pageant is going to be interesting. Adhikari said, “It’s a wonderful opportunity for me to represent Nepal in an international platform.”

“In few days I will start my preparation for the pageant,” she added. Likewise, Riya Basnet, Meera Kakshapati, and Rose Lama will be representing Nepal in Miss Earth, Miss International,   and Miss Super National respectively.
