Snow Yak Foundation to host ‘Raft for Change, Raft for Dolpa 3.0’

A non-profit organization, Snow Yak Foundation is hosting their annual fundraising rafting event, ‘Raft for Change, Raft for Dolpa’, at Rafting Star Bhotekoshi, Dolalghat on June 28, Friday.

Rafting will begin at 7 am on Friday from Lamosanghu and end at Rafting Star. There will be fun activities such as bingo, pool party, open mic/karaoke, sport activities, face painting, photo booth, elephant tug-of-war and bonfire on Saturday till 11 pm.

Snow Yak Foundation hosted ‘Raft for Change, Raft for Dolpa’ for the first time in 2017, where over 150 participants took part. Since it’s a charity event, the amount will be donated towards the quality education in Dolpa.

 “It is a matter of pride to inform you that we were able to support the stipend of four local fellow teachers through the fund raised,” reads the description of Snow Yak Foundation’s Facebook event.
