Singer Yogeshwar Amatya spreads Peace at Mandala (with video)

Thousands of locals mainly from Newar community of Kathmandu Valley gathered at Maitighar mandal on Wednesday to protest against the Guthi bill registered by the government in the National Assembly. Though the government on Tuesday announced withdrawal of the bill, the demonstrators took to the street demanding that the proposed law be scrapped altogether.

Prominent singer Yogeshwor Amatya was seen in the crowd of the demonstrators staging protest near Singhadurbar. While many others were chanting slogans, the ‘Jaba Sandhya Hunchha’ singer shared bunch of flowers, as a symbol of love and peace, to the police personnel deployed there
