Search for Common Ground and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held a joint press meet to announce the airing of the season of the TV series of ‘Singha Durbar’, at the Yala Maya Kendra, Patan Dhoka on Friday. The 13-episode TV series is scheduled to debut through Nepal Television from 8:50 pm, Saturday.
The show, which is directed by Nabin Subba, features Ramesh Ranjan Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Ramesh Budhathoki, and Alok Thapa among other. The joint press release by USAID and Search for Common Ground has quoted the director saying, “We have presented more humanized character – a Prime Minister who is afraid to fail the expectation of the people, and an ensemble of characters that represent current-day leaders, and the public.”
This season will highlight the concurrent issues of the country following the aftermath of the new federal structure. Like in the previous season, this series will continue to portray Gauri Malla as the prime minister of Nepal.
