RSP rejects individual-centric probe, vows comprehensive approach to cooperative issues

RSP rejects individual-centric probe, vows comprehensive approach to cooperative issues

KATHMANDU, May 7: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has made it clear that it is not in favor of the Nepali Congress's proposal to form a parliamentary inquiry committee to investigate Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the cooperative case. Instead, the party said it is focused on addressing cooperative issues comprehensively rather than singling out individuals for scrutiny.

During a parliamentary party meeting, the RSP rejected the idea of an individual-centric probe and emphasized their commitment to resolving systemic challenges within cooperatives. MP Manish Jha said that the demand for a Parliamentary Inquiry Committee was not agreed to during their discussions.

According to him, the meeting also focused on preparations for the forthcoming budget session in addition to discussing the cooperative case.
