Kamala Sunar, 30, and Hari Rambahadur, 49, came to Kathmandu four months ago seeking treatment for their son. “We came here all the way from Arghakhachi because our son Bishnu is sick. Though we are poor, we are lucky that the villagers donated some money for our son’s treatment.
Also, a doctor from Kanti Children’s Hospital had promised to treat Bishnu,” said Kamala. She is a homemaker, while her husband does farming in Argakhachi. They have two daughters and a son. “We have finalized Bishnu’s operation date. We are optimistic that everything will be fine and our son will live a long life,” she added.
