Know MoreKATHMANDU, May 13: Renowned climber Nirmal Purja Magar, known as ‘Nims Dai’, has ventured into the helicopter business, acquiring a 53 percent stake in Mustang Helicopters.
Mustang Helicopters, established three years ago by Ishwar Lamichhane, also known as Ronan, has now welcomed Nims Dai as a major shareholder.
Presently operating with two helicopters, the company aims to expand its fleet by adding another helicopter this year, in line with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal's new mandate requiring five helicopters within five years.
Beyond his mountaineering feats, Nims Dai has been actively involved in the trekking and expedition gear business in Thamel.
