KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that all should be flexible to settle disputed issues through constitution amendment by institutionalising achievements from constitution. 

At an interaction with experts of different sectors regarding resolving problems of Terai-Madhes here on Tuesday, senior leader Poudel said that the NC should take leadership to resolve problems like delineation and citizenship. 

Expressing the view that election of three-level should be held within January 20, 2017, he said, "Let's find out solution thinking what situation would surface if new constitution is not implemented." Leader Poudel also pointed out the need of launching a national campaign for the prosperity of Terai-Madhes as well as uplift living standard and livelihood of people. 

On the occasion, former Minister Bidyadhar Mallik said that solution of different problems like delineation and inclusion should be sought on the basis of consensus soon. 

Similarly, senior lawyer Ram Krishna Nirala and lawyers—Bijay Singh and Devendra Jha expressed the view that the NC should take leadership in a political and constitutional way to resolve the Terai-Madhes problem as per the demand of the people of Terai-Madhes. 

Likewise, writer CK Lal, central committee member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Sheetal Prasad Mahato, Dr Anjani Kumar Jha and Thakur Raman Acharya, among others urged to resolve the problems as soon as possible. RSS
