NC Parliamentary Party and Central Working Committee meetings postponed
KATHMANDU, May 13: The meetings of the Nepali Congress (NC)’s working committee and parliamentary party have been postponed.
The NC parliamentary party said that both the meetings scheduled for this afternoon have been postponed.
The meetings will be held on May 14. The NC said that the working committee meeting will be held at 8 AM and the parliamentary party meeting will convene at 9 AM.
The meetings are scheduled to be held at the office of the NC parliamentary party at Singha Durbar.
The NC has said that the meetings have been called to further discuss the latest developments in parliament.
The NC has been demanding the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee to probe the alleged involvement of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in cooperative fraud. Since the government is not ready to form such a committee, the NC has been obstructing parliament.
