Know MoreKATHMANDU, May 7: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has reaffirmed its stance on the necessity of forming a parliamentary committee to investigate the alleged involvement of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in irregularities related to cooperatives.
During a meeting called by Speaker Devraj Ghimire on Tuesday, NC leadership reiterated their longstanding demand for the formation of a parliamentary committee to probe the matter.
The NC has been persistently obstructing parliamentary sessions, demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee. If their demands are not met, it appears that the NC will continue to disrupt parliamentary proceedings.
