The arrested person is 54-year-old Shani Bhandari, a resident of Chapakot Municipality-8 of Syangja district and currently living in Tokha, Kathmandu. He was arrested by the team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office from Tokha on Thursday morning.
The police said that he was dealing in cryptocurrency. Superintendent of Police and spokesperson for the Crime Investigation Office, Nakul Pokharel, said that the arrested Bhandari has been sent to the District Police Range Kathmandu for further investigation and action.
