K-Town Celebrities getting familiar with FaceApp

K-Town Celebrities getting familiar with FaceApp

Actor Deepak Raj Giri has shared his ‘elderly-version’ picture on social media. The photo with his grey hair and wrinkled face due to the help of sensational apps—FaceApp is garnering popularity on social media.

Giri claimed he is the first Nepali actor who tried the ‘Old-Age’ filter and shared it on social media.

“One of my friends has sent my elderly photo on social media. I was excited and shared it on Facebook for his happiness,” he told My City.

FaceApp which was launched in 2017, becomes viral these days as it added ‘Old Age’ filter.   Not only general people, K-town actors are also enjoying FaceApp which allowed people of different ages to portray themselves into elderly age.

Comedian-actor Manoj Gajurel has also shared a photo ‘Age Challenge’ using FaceApp on Facebook. “Our uncle becomes 80-year-old elderly,” Gajurel wrote a caption on that photo.

“I used this app since it is very interesting. But I later realized it is unsafe,” he said.

Similarly, actress Deepa Shree Niraula and comedian-actor Kedar Prasad Ghimire have also used ‘Old Age’ filters and shared it on Facebook. Meanwhile, actor Ayushman Deshraj Joshi unveiled his elderly looks on Instagram story.

However, actress Suraksha Pant seems not interested in using the Face-App citing it as unsafe. “I don’t really like this kind of apps. Moreover, it is unsafe to use in terms of privacy,” Pant told My City.
