KATHMANDU, Sept 21: Indian comedian Raju Srivastava died in Delhi on Wednesday while undergoing treatment for a heart attack. The 58 year-old comedian was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital for the last 41 days.
According to the Indian media, his relatives confirmed Srivastava’s death this morning. Improvement in his health was reported only a few days ago.
After his participation in the first season of the stand-up comedy show - The Great Indian Laughter Challenge - he had gained stardom. He featured in films like 'Maine Pyar Kiya', ‘Baazigar’, ‘Waah! Tera Kya Kehna’, 'Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiyaa', ‘Bombay to Goa’ and 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon', among others.
