Know MoreKATHMANDU, April 9: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been adjourned until tomorrow, Wednesday.
Following disruptions caused by the Nepali Congress, the main opposition party, the meeting was initially adjourned for 15 minutes. However, as the situation did not improve, the adjourned meeting has now been rescheduled for tomorrow at 11 AM.
After adjourning the session, Speaker Devraj Ghimire engaged in discussions with leaders from various political parties, including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party, and others.
Despite deliberations, a consensus could not be reached due to the Nepali Congress's insistence on forming a parliamentary probe committee to investigate the charges against Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
