Nepali film ‘Survival - Living through Covid’ wins best cinematography award at Albori Soulplace Film Festival

The National News Agency (RSS), having nationwide network, is the largest and longest serving news agency in Nepal. It was established in 2018 BS under the Rastriya Samachar Samiti Act, 2019 BS, merging two privately owned news agencies with a view to facilitating newspapers and broadcast media.

Five books have been shortlisted for the ' Badalbhitrako Gham Puraskar' a literary prize institutionalised by the Shami Literary Foundation.
Those creations are 'Abishranta', a novel by Ambika Aryal; 'Aakashako Dar', a collection of essays by Narendra Raj Poudel; 'Cheers', a story book by Dilip Shah; Laxman Poudel's novel ' Sunpani' and 'Shaharbinako Rahar', an anthology of poems by Damodar Pudasaini
'Kishor'.
The award carries a purse of Rs 111,111. According to Foundation chair Pradeep Nepal, earlier it had summoned for the submission of literary creations for the award and it received a total of 84creations. Among them, five were shortlisted and one will be picked for the award which will be presented on coming March 1.
