‘Django Unchained’ is a western drama movie, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. In the movie, Django is helped by German bounty hunter to rescue his wife from the brutal Mississippi plantation owner. The story took place in the late 1850s, when the slavery was in a high peak in United States of America.
The acting throughout the entire movie is applaudable. Thanks to Tarantino, Leonardo DiCaprio is depicted as a brutal character in this film.
The movie, however, was also successful with awards. Christoph Waltz, who portrays himself as a bounty hunter bagged the Academy Award for ‘Best Supporting Role’ in 2013. The movie didn’t win the ‘Best Picture’ but Tarantino won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
