Walking the woods,

Listening to their

verdant secrets

Braving a steady drizzle is a

nostalgic joy.

I regularly indulge in

Every afternoon these days

sitting on a wobbly chair

nearby my desultory guest,

an amiable serene cat.

There is not a tree

that I cannot talk to.
