Bollywood stars in Kathmandu to shoot film ‘Unchai’

KATHMANDU
Bollywood actors have come to Kathmandu for the shooting of the film 'Unchai'. Actress Parineeti Chopra, actor Anupam Kher and Boman Irani have come to Kathmandu. Anupam Kher has posted a video of his visit to Pashupatinath on Tuesday on social media.

In the post, he writes, "Prayed at the ancient temple of #Pashupatinath ji in #Kathmandu, Nepal on behalf of everybody. Prayed for everyone’s good health & peace. This lord Shiva temple was built in the 5th century!!  Millions of devotees from all over come to pray here! Jai Bholenath!!" 

Veteran Bollywood director Suraj Badjatya is directing the movie. This is his seventh film and he has given superhit movies like 'Maine Pyaar Kiya', 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun', 'Vivah', 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and 'Hum Saath Saath Hai'.

Danny Denzopa and Nina Gupta will also be in the lead roles in the film. The filming is scheduled for 40 days in Nepal. The film is targeted to be completed by March 2022.

The film will be based on a story of friendship and will star Amitabh Bachhan along with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Nina Gupta and Pankaj Tripathi.
