We are surrounded by full of objects, the personal objects, common or public objects etc. Every object has its own purpose to being there and there are lots of stories behind it. However, objects are inseparable things of our daily life. Object reflects the people who belong to it; object also reflects the situation of time.
And artist Narayan Bohaju's paintings 'Beyond the object', which is being featured at Dalai-La art gallery, Thamel, he has focused on much seen objects from public life or from public place as per a press statement released by the artist. He has tried to show the abstract dream, stories of people that pass through this objects.
"The haphazardly unmanaged electric and cables lines, busy traffics, locally seen market objects etc. mostly I used in my work. I tried to reflect our day to day life through these objects. And we all are connected with these object directly or indirectly and we have our individual stories with this objects. I believe that the object which involved in our individual life or daily life can say more abut our situation than showing somebody's face or making a portrait painting," the press statement qoutes him. It added in the exhibition there are seven large size acrylic and oil paintings.
The exhibition that began on November 1, will continue till November 28.
