  • What inspired you to run your business?

My mother has been my biggest inspiration. She manufactures cashmere products for high-end designers in Europe. I have literally seen unique, near to impossible designs made in the factory, and hence this inspired me to start something different too. We also have a streetwear brand called REBELDE NEPAL, to cater to the youth of the nation.

  • What are the key things that help you to be an entrepreneur?

I think one of the main important ingredients is wanting to be different from the rest, finding your own niche. Just doing business for the sake of it does not guarantee long-term success. • What inspired you to run your business?

This company was long run by my eldest brother, Barnabas Shrestha (Founder of the company), and was my first ever job before I joined another giant corporate sector. While I knew I wanted to do something of my own, I didn't quite know what that thing would be. • What inspired you to run your business?

It was during the run of a 2 month long backpacking journey in the dunes of Rajasthan whence I realized, in Today’s world, how important a bag had become as a commodity to a person. I keenly observed that whatever one carries in the bag - their laptop, diary, folder, charger, etc is the modern day “Today’s Telegram”. Also, the name altogether served, retained & synced to our core of being a creative writing product.

Coming back with a track and my first 2 bulk orders from UK and NZ in early 2017 - I prepped and aspired to cater my dad’s 40 year long leather manufacturing expertise into creative and functional end-products from the himalayas. Essentially, we were inspired to craft an art in the bag.
