Art camp for cultural exchange
Nepal Lalitkala Manch invited a group of artists from Vanarasi, India to participate in an art camp titled ‘Kashi to Kathmandu’. The art camp began on Tuesday and will continue till Sunday, as per the press statement released by Nepal Lalitkala Manch.
The art camp is organized by Mehta Art Gallery in collaboration with Nepal Lalitkala Munch and Lumbini World Peace Forum. It is supported by B P Koirala India-Nepal Foundation and Embassy of Nepal in India. The first day of the art camp began at Mirgasthali, Pashupati, where artists captured the beauty of cultural and natural heritage present there. A total of 11 Indian artists have gathered in Kathmandu for the art camp.
The camp aims at spreading peace and harmony as well as exchanging culture between the two countries. The team of artists also plans to visit various places in Kathmandu that are important to understand the Nepali way of living and Nepal’s cultural and natural beauty.
