Miss Nepal World 2019 Anushka Shrestha said that she has raised important issues at the Miss World 2019, beauty pageant held in London, recently.

She also said that she would fulfill the commitments made at the Miss World pageant, at a press conference held in Kathmandu on Monday. According to her, the goal is to work for sustainable improvement in the quality of education of girl child, by mainly focusing on economic upliftment of mother through livelihood generation through multifaceted community upliftment program that aims to create a sustainable and duplicable development model in rural areas of Sindhupalchowk.

For this, she stressed on the economic reforms of the mothers and emphasized on the education of the children. Saying that she was able to win the most prestigious two titles in Miss World 2019—Beauty with a Purpose (BWAP) and Multimedia Award — she has tried her best to introduce Nepal to the world.

Since 1997, Nepal began to participate in Miss World beauty pageant. She added, “Nepal winning important titles every year should be considered a success because Nepal has bagged three BWAP in Miss World Pageant.”
