KATHMANDU,

'The Nepal Tour 2022' of a famous rock band ‘Anuprastha’ has kicked off from today.

The band is set to hold concerts in eight main cities including Pokhara, Birtamod, Kakarvitta, Damak, Dharan, Kathmandu, Butwal and  Chitwan. The Nepali band started touring the country in 2017. Their previous tours are 2017 What to do Kathmandu (Nepal tour), 2018 Anuprastha live in Dubai (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), 2019 Nachana Maichyang (Nepal tour) and 2019 Rock n roll phase 7 (Nepal tour)

The band is set to perform in Paradiso Bar, Pokhara on June 10, Lavish Lounge and Bar, Butwal on June 11, Dining and Wining Lounge and Bar in Birtamod on June 15, Borderland Restaurant and Bar, Kakarvitta on June 13, Vintage Family Lounge and Resort, Dharan on June 14, Trishna The Craving Tale, Biratnagar on June 18, The Galaxy Empire, Chitwan on June 24, Senate Club, Thamel, Kathmandu on June 25, Hard Rock Café, Kathmandu on June 29 and Purple Haze Rock Bar, Kathmandu on July 2.

Niran Shahi, Vocalist and Guitarist of the band said, “The motive of the tour is to keep the rock music alive and to reach new places.” “However, the band wouldn't be able to reach the western part of Nepal like Himalayan region such as Mustang due to the current road conditions,” he said. 

Shahi further added, “Another main agenda of our tour is to donate 10 percent of the fund collected from the tour for treatment of needy ones.” He also stated that through their respective initiative, they want to inspire people of every field to engage in such charitable work as well as support them.
