KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Renowned singer Anju Panta is gearing up for her first ever solo musical performance scheduled for Saturday at the Nepal Academy Hall, Kamalpokhari. The Anju Panta Foundation is organizing the event.
Panta is scheduled to perform half a dozen of her hit songs at the musical event. For the event, she has been practicing with a musical troupe consisting 27 people at the Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, as per a press statement released by the Foundation.
The press statement quoted the singer as saying, "I have never done a solo musical performance and am very excited about it. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be hand over to the Recordist’s Association and the other half will be spent in scholarship for deserving students."
Tickets for the event are priced at Rs 1,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000.
