A Tribute to Mom
Many of us in this age have forgotten what our priorities are and how important it is for us to spend time around our family. We don’t realize how the time is transient and how we don’t get much time to connect with the people we meet in life.
Our mortality betrays us. But, it is also true that the important thing is spending quality time not quantity time. And the reason we don’t feel grateful toward life and people around us is because we’re always stressed about petty things.
But it’s never too late to express gratitude to our moms because mothers are perfect in everything they do, from managing the household chores, balancing work and personal lives, to scolding their kids for the slightest imperfections.
They are the best multi-tasker in the whole world and there is so much to learn from them in each step of our life. Words can’t describe these beautiful souls who make our life beautiful. I wonder how they have so much patience and strength in every situation.
The cycle of emotions between mothers and their children never fades away. Some moms have reservations while their kids are growing up whereas some have a more friends like relationship. There are infinite posts on Facebook and other platforms where we write about our sentiments toward our moms. But this only works perfectly for people who share their feelings to their moms in person as well. Else it just doesn’t make sense in showing the world if in reality you don’t even have a minute to express your gratitude to your mom.
All I have to say is that I haven’t seen a selfless, devoted, powerful person and an awesome chef like my mom. I cannot describe in words how much she means to me.
