Dear My Republica readers,

Greetings from Nepal Republic Media and the My Republica team! Hope you all are doing well. This is the first time we have tried to contact you in this way, hoping that you are going to like it.

The reason we have contacted you is we want to know your opinion on a key question: Should naturalized citizens be allowed to hold key state positions like President, Vice President, Prime Minister, chiefs of security bodies, Chief Justice, state governor, chief minister, Speaker of Lower and Upper House, speaker of state assembly? The constitution has 10 such positions which are currently barred for naturalized citizens. We think that it’s a very important question. This is our current poll question as well (You can see it at the bottom of the website on our homepage).
